The party opposes higher military spending, calls for Spain to leave NATO, voted for the October 2025 arms embargo decree on Israel and demands a break in relations with Israel.
The party calls for defence spending above 2% of GDP and honouring NATO commitments, supports a two-state solution but criticised the unilateral recognition of Palestine, and voted against the decree imposing an arms embargo on Israel.
The party sets defence spending at the 2% of GDP reached in 2025 and rejects NATO's 5% target. It recognised the State of Palestine in 2024 and enacted an arms embargo on Israel by decree-law in 2025.
The party proposes a legal floor of 2% of GDP for defence and Abascal favours going above it, pledges to revoke recognition of Palestine, voted against the arms embargo on Israel, and does not propose leaving the EU.
